Picturing the scenes 3 years from now as Ratboy walks down the tunnel at Gateshead Stadium ( which the Mackems are groundsharing), to face his former club, wearing a hazmat suit as he knows what they’re like.

I know Storey is of course a total fucking idiot, but this is the type of crap I keep seeing from people and it makes no fucking sense. There’s only two (?) clubs owned in a similar fashion to ours in the top 5 leagues in Europe, we’re not just owned by some rich bloke who might give up or lose interest, or continue to make a mess of things, this lot will make a success of things. It may not happen as quickly as some hope, or the early days might have some missteps but posts like Storeys are just fucking nonsense and frankly I don’t see why they delude themselves in this manner (I know he’s doing it as he enjoys the attention of the mackems, which makes sense seeing as they’re a bunch of fucking tramps as well).

The only time he gets more than about 3 likes to one of his posts is when it’s playing to the SMB crowd. We’re roughly evens to go down so he’s probably right about it not being a bad punt. But he’s talking absolute fucking bollocks about the deal. 1) because it makes zero sense based on what you say and the outlay they’ve already made (especially settling the piracy dispute). And 2) because there’s not a hope in hell he had any inside track. So I think it’s both him licking the mackem’s hoops but quite possibly also because he’s insane enough to have convinced himself he’s onto something. At least until the effects of the spice and the absinthe shandies wear off

 Agreed on his purpose, I just don’t get others deluding themselves it’s true. It’s like all these idiots who act like if we went down the Saudis will just find another project, they’re not getting that with the ambitions they have and the money they (long term) are willing to spend the current state of the club is pretty much an irrelevance to them.

I suppose it’s the last hope now after the money we have already spent, and clearly are trying to spend, a lot of the prior delusion that the Saudis won’t really spend much (another bafflingly weird delusion that was kicking around at one point).

I understand there was always going to be this, but honestly it’s fucking tedious isn’t it? I suppose it will just always change forms, I watched this True Geordie kick off show the other day and there’s some absurdly annoying Manchester United fan and a Manchester City fan on there, and after bickering throughout the Manchester United fan just started bringing up human rights out of nowhere, so even once we are clear of this current mess and start to enjoy success (relative or otherwise) we will always get these tedious types of left field remarks.

How fucking thick would you have to be to believe him? He gets the odd F1 fan taking the piss out of him for being a fraud and one of them pointed out Rich Energy OMG Racing has changed its name to OMG Racing, he’s not a director at Rich Energy or Wolf Data Systems any more. And as for Wolf Jerky ( ) the other two directors have resigned leaving him in sole control of a company whose ‘product’ isn’t even available online. I bet he has zoom meetings with himself

"It was planned. Mags not wearing colours threw tool bags over the FE wall to mates inside. They took up at the back, main stand side, and proceeded to throw hammers, axes, chisels and screwdrivers into our tightly packed fans. When they ran out of missiles and our lads were moving towards them they moved across and then down to the clockstand side. By then a crowd of Sunderland lads had them almost penned in. The tables had turned but before revenge could be taken the cowardly bastards moved into the corner of the pitch and running track where they were rescued by police before being escorted towards the Roker end corner and relative safety. If memory serves nigh on a hundred people were taken to hospital that day, I personally saw five or six with terrible facial and head injuries."

Granted they think your date is wrong.
