Howay's post and essembee's post are very similar and both apt. (And funny). One gets stick and the other doesn't. Can 'daddy's cock' give us an update on his exciting season so far?

Howay's was a bit more coherent tbf.

And yes, DC hasn't been around for a while  Weird that.

I think it's because Howay's post was more a "How'd you like them apples?" post, essembee's post was "OMG LOOK AT THE MACKEMS THEY'RE SHIT AREN'T THEY AND LOOK AT HOW THEY'RE SHIT AND LETS TALK MORE ABOUT THEM BEING SHIT" and as such it wasn't funny.

Will my beloved Unwashed be in the Championship next year?

Looks like it

I do have some begrudging respect for you from time to time, to be fair. You're here posting, for reasons no one here fully understands, even when Sunderland are going down. You're not fairweather about it.

But seriously, why are you here?? I'm starting to think that RTG must be really, really bad.

You all know my posts are well worth reading, that's why you read them, and somtimes so so funny.

5/6 are the odds on both us and the Saints to win this weekend, but i cannot see it happening.

Now that was funny.

Yesterday i opened a tin of Tesco own brand evaporated milk, only to find it was full of milk.I'm taking it back for a refund this afternoon

I'm on a roll now.

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has hailed Liverpool striker and compatriot Luis Suarez - whilst declaring that the Reds would be mid-table without him.

The Black Cats boss takes his struggling side to Anfield on Wednesday evening where he will look to stop Suarez, who has 28 Premier League goals this season.

The Mackems are mired in relegation trouble following a 2-0 defeat at Norwich on Saturday, whilst Liverpool's attack looked irresistible once more as they struck six times against Cardiff.

However Poyet believes that Brendan Rodgers title-chasing side's hopes rest squarely on the shoulders of their talismanic No.7.

"I am not surprised, that's why they have got a chance. Without Suarez, they would probably be in mid-table," said Poyet on Tuesday.

"It's not about how they play, how they defend, how they pass the ball; It's about having a player who is going to be voted the best player of the year by everybody, if we are honest."

Suarez is expected to excel at this summer's World Cup for La Celeste, for whom Poyet once starred, and the ex-Chelsea and Tottenham midfielder admits that while he has known about Suarez for the best part of a decade, he never expected him to become one of the world's very best.

"I saw him once in a summer friendly game. He was just starting, I think he was 17 or 18," explained Poyet.

"He was a powerful striker playing on his own, but of course, not the player we are seeing today.

"To be honest, I wasn't even thinking he would be so good. He played a decent game, but now he is on another level.

"Now you can compare him with the top players in the world because he makes the difference somehow."

:cantlook:

They'll get such a spanking tonight

I've got a funny feeling the unwashed will get a result tonight.

Nah, I know that's what can happen, but I don't see them getting a fucking corner tonight.

It bothers me that they're actually doing reasonably well...

EDIT - I blame each and every one of you for jinxing it

On the plus side they're now in serious trouble. They have a game in hand over Palace, and true, their goal difference is superior, but it's very fine lines now... they need to win that game (in hand) or heads will drop.
