Kevin Carr's Gloves

Mathieu Debuchy

Made one great sliding tackle near the end where he cleanly won the ball, regained possession, and started running up the field.

Surely is one of the best right backs in the League right now.

Classic example of someone who needed time to settle in to a new league.

He's been instrumental in our good run of form. You can also see why he was such a fans favourite at Lille, he works very hard.

His work rate is immense. Also notable is that his average position is often the half way line.

Statistically (!) the best performing right back in Europe this season.

Interesting. What statistic would that be exactly? Pitch coverage? tackle percentage? headers won? interceptions? Possibly all of them! :D

How refreshing to have a couple of top class defenders at the club. And Santon, Mbiwa, Haidara with the potential to be the same.

whoscored.com certainly has him top right back for this month. They have Everton's Coleman for the season though.

Worth noting Arsenal had to move Cazorla to the centre in the first half to try and get some joy because our right back was having absolutely none of it :D

Im aware Arsenal move about players as the game goes on but this was not one of those routine manoeuvres.

I think even with Ashley there's a limit to the amount of players he can let go this summer. Shola is out of contract, Remy wont sign, De Jong so far looks miles off the standard to pay the sort of money they want, Colo's wanted out for a while, Ben Arfa can't get a game any more and looks a good bet to be away, Marveaux is training with the bairns now and we were apparently trying offload him and Obertan in January, Cisse looks another likely leaver, Gosling has been getting punted about for a while, Krul keeps getting linked to Italy and now Debuchy.

That would leave us with

Elliot

Anwick

Tavernier

Raylor

Santon

Haidara

Dummet

Mbiwa

Williamson

Saylor

Anita

Sissoko

Goufran

Sammy

Armstrong

Campbell

Realistically we would need to sign a first team Keeper, rightback, centreback, centre mid, winger and two strikers who were all capable of going straight into the first team. There's no way that will happen even here.

There's nothing for Debuchy here. Or Ben Arfa. Or Sissoko, who'll be next.

Add Anita, Santon and Mbiwa to the list too. All players with potential but wont get anywhere here with our shit coaching team and visionary owner.

Championship squad at best there Mr Kelly.

Exactly and given that not falling back into the Championship is pretty much all the fat cunt is bothered about, I don't see him allowing that situation to develop.
