Rollingstones is bang on, they can keep going on and on about how there's money to spend but 3 is a fairly average amount of summer signings for most teams and since we haven't bothered signing anyone in 18 month we need way more than 3, especially with all those loanees leaving and contracts ending that TRS pointed out.
