Might as well have it's own thread as this will no doubt give us days of hilarity.

Newcastle United will become one of the first Premier League clubs to use FANCAM during Saturday's fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.

FANCAM is a 20,000 megapixel image that is taken of the crowd at the live event, which fans can then find themselves in 24 hours after the match.

A 360-degree, high-definition image will be taken from pitchside during the game against Spurs. From Sunday afternoon, supporters will be able to 'step inside' the image and look around, as if they were standing on the pitch for a frozen moment of time during the game.

They will be able to find themselves and friends and tag the photo to share across Facebook, Twitter and email.

To visit the FANCAM image on Sunday, or to get a notification of when it will go live, simply click here .

Sunderland did this last season I think

That's an awful lot of wasted mega-pixels on empty seats. Surely it would be more cost effective to take individual portraits of all ten of their fans?

I don't want my pic posting up here for security reasons and health and safety.

Drama queen

Unless someone knows your seat number Im fairly sure you're safe from anyone looking for you in a crowd of 50,000+ people and posting your pic on here.

Anyone else, feel free to share your mugshots!

However, I must also suggest Stevie, that in future you stop posting pictures, posts, messages, profiles and Twitter accounts of anyone you deem to be a "wrong'un" without any evidence of such.

If you want your privacy and identity protected then it works both ways.
