Brentford Doncaster

The winner would go up, it's 0-0 til the 90th minute, Brentford get a penalty, penalty taker hits the crossbar, Doncaster go up the other end and score to win promotion as champions

Football man, it's fucking mental.

Worth noting that mcmanaman who scored Wigan's second should not even have been playing. If Wigan miraculously stay up it will be thanks to the horrible officiating in our game that gifted them three points in combination with the FAs selective impotence.

They are already confirmed down. ;)

Howzat? 9 points to play for, 9 points off Villa.

Unless you mean they've been confirmed relegated for a while... If not mathematically... which is true enough.

Would either not stay up with three straight wins if Villa were to lose all three?

EDIT: Ah, I see. Because Wigan still have Villa to play.

Even if they win their remaining three games they can only reach a maximum of 34 points.

Aston Villa, 17th in the table, are currently on 34 points, but for Villa to lose all of their remaining games would involve 18th-placed Wigan, who they meet on the final day, finishing on a minimum of 35 points.
