Red bull(shit) stratos record.

The intense scrutiny has been done. You can't see IMAX resolution video as no one was there with very expensive cameras to record it. CCTV was there. High resolution photos before the event and after the event are available. You don't have definition images of the supersonic sky dive as no one wanted to drop a camera worth a few £million out of a plane in case it got destroyed!

Actually nuclear power is reliant on things much much smaller then an atom is. Its all about neutrons which less then 1% the size of an atom, which you just confound you further.

University where you can study nuclear physics off the top of my head. Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial college london, Sheffield, Leeds. Basically any university that does physics, will have course in nuclear physics.

If you want nuclear specialist courses then look at the following links www.ntec.ac.uk and http://www.birmingha...r-reactors.aspx

So a neutron is smaller than an invisible atom is it? Any idea how they managed to measure this?

The discipline doesn't seem to have moved on much since the 30's tho.

I'll tell you what Rikko. Can you tell me how they managed to fission an atom in a lab with the neutrons and have you done this at university or at a special nuclear facility.

I'm not talking about reactors here, I'm talking about the process of just fissioning as it must have been tested on a tiny scale to know what it does, right?

Any nuclear scientist should be doing this experiment.

I hope he tells you that he's not gonna waste his time continuing to speak to a bloke whose brain seems more elusive than the fucking atom.

Well if he does, at least he won;t sit there and piss himself like you keep doing.

Great comeback. Pissssssssss.

Thanks.

You expend far too much time trying to have a dig man, why don;t you hoy a bit into the topic. You can see you are doomed to failure trying to take me on in the put down stakes and you will, in time literally cry like a gissy and threaten to leave or something.

Just join in man, I don't have any grudge against you.

Uranium will fission on its own accord. If you get a lump of granite and wait long enough one of the uranium atoms in it will eventually fission. To speed it up you can shoot neutrons at it. Most good university physics departments will have a neutron source.

If you dissolve your granite in some acid and insert an FTIR or Raman Spectrometry probe into it. This will show you what elements are inside and what concentrations of each element is. If you then shoot the neutrons from the neutron source at it you will notice the amount of uranium decreasing and you will observe that Caesium and Strontium and a few other things appear. This is the fission.

I have never done it personally and its not a regular experiment that is done as at the end of the experiment you will be left with a big pile of dangerous waste that you cant get rid of easily. There is a fair chance you will get a lethal dose of radiation from it too.

If you really wanted too you can get hold of all the ingredients to do this experiment with out too much difficulty. Would cost a fair amount and you would struggle a bit getting some of the things you need to make a neutron source, but you could do it in your own kitchen.

After seeing this video, I have to apologise to all for doubting nuclear energy.

It's explained it all to me in a more simplified manner thanks to glow boy.

I'm off to ASDA tomorrow to get all the ingredients. I'm gonna knock a small nuke reactor up, then have my electric cut off and connect it via my own little reactor.

The eleccy company will be pissed at me but I don't care.

To think I've questioned this for a while. I feel a right doyle now.

Does anyone know if I have to have a boy scout uniform or can I just go ahead and just knock one up.

I can just see all my neighbours jealous as fuck in a weeks time when they see my house lit up like a fucking ready brek halo,

I wonder what they will call me ( and no Gemmill, they won't call me stupid cunt)...I will be walking past and they will all shout, ' uh ho, there goes the fission man' .....or they will shout, ' here is is, it's reactor man' , I'll feel dead good.

You'd think by now they'd have ready made reactors by chad valley or something wouldn't you.

Juts nip in the shops and say, ' ermm, can I have a 60 watt light bulb, a bag of fuses, some clothes pegs, black bin liners, a box of daz....oh and can I have one of them nuclear reactors please'...fucking mint. :icon_lol:

'oh , this is one of the books I used to get my knowledge, (flicks through the pages) , oh look , it's a sheet inside where I done my equations aged fucking eleven.'

In the garage with his mask on whilst the female is saying, are you supposed to be doing this, as he's ripping a smoke detector to nits to release the atoms, which unbeknown to him were jumping off his knee and running like fuck from his garage, looking back at him and shouting, ' fuck you glow boy.'

I bet the woman was standing there in a full nuclear warfare suit eh. :icon_lol:

Have you physically done any sort of experiment that showed you a glowing fissioning piece of Uranium or the likes, or have you went through uni based on equations and theory?

When I was a kid we would fuck about in straw field and now and again someone would hoy a match in and it would blaze away. Naturally we would run like fuck.

These days, they play in fields and such and fuck about with smoke detector bits and various chemicals. Mix then altogether and fission it, then run like fuck when it goes into melt down. :icon_lol:

If you think its all shite, why don't you repeat the stuff done by that kid. I advise that you don't as its dangerous. But if you are supremely confident its shite, put you cock on the block and do it. Prove us all wrong.

I've never done the experiment no. Just theory. But my theory is better then your supposition.

Having proven the conspiracies behind the blatantly faked skydive, planes hitting the twin towers & all evidence pointing towards it, nuclear submarines, Fukushima and nuclear power; Wolfy is now on to his next target: exposing how proving something using maths is not credible.

Funnily enough, back in the day they invisioned a reactor every couple of blocks. I shit you not. Of course now we know it's a very dangerous caper.

I've never done the experiment no. Just theory. But my theory is better then your supposition.

So what you know about fissioning is based on just theory and if you are honest, you don't know 100% what actually goes on in a reactor do you.

I mean you know the theory of what goes on and you know that the people you are around are telling you what goes on, yet you haven't actually seen for yourself the nuclear reaction process with your own eyes, am I correct here?

Now , I grant you that in your mind, your theory is far far stronger than my supposition but that doesn't make nuclear power true, except in theory.

You know as well as I do that there's thousands of people working in or around nuclear power stations, subs, aircraft carriers and the likes and all will be told (at least basically) what the process is yet they will never see that process in it's real form, they will just see the ship moving and lit up and believe it's nuclear power.

I could be a million miles away from knowing what really makes them work or they actually do work in how they say, yet I just don't see how it's possible.

Fair do's, it's easy to say my lack of understanding of it is why I don't know about it but those that rely on the theory of it working could be being duped.....it's possible isn't it Rikko, no matter how small a possibility it will appear to you...it is possible that it's all based on a lie isn't it?

Hang on a minute - is this guy now on to claiming that nuclear power doesn't exist? The stuff that powers about a fifth of the world's electricity isn't actually real? Hiroshima/Nagasaki-denier?

All the nuclear bomb tests in the 50s were normal bombs with someone banging a big drum in the background - in Wolfworld.

I shit thee not.

FFS, he posts the footage of Fukushima going bang, and when a mast is briefly obscured by smoke , he reckons it's proof of fakery.

oh fuck me the lads gone to the bother page after page to explain to you how it works, knowing what his job is

and what does it boil down to? unless he's acting like homer wandering out of work with a rod on his back "ah then it can be fake"

seriously wolfy what do you do for a job? that's not a dig i'd honestly love to know.

I'm a scientist.

Nope, I don't reckon it's proof of fakery, I merely mentioned that the footage is absolute shite.

You questioned why the mast disappeared then reappeared.

Given your history, your implication is that this somehow shows its fake footage.

That, or you just couldn't work out it was smoke.
