Completely bereft of quality in midfield, two strikers who play as though they've never seen the other, and a suspect defence. Something else that continues to irritate is our reliance on this "floaty back-post" free kick routine with Williamson. We haven't even tried adventurous balls we just can't find our own players from 8 yards away and I cannot work out why, this has been happening all season. Absolutely mystifying. Nowt up front whatsoever, weak at the back. We really can't blame injuries for this one tbh we're playing Southampton and should have the quality to beat them but we're doing nothing. He's shown in glimpses he is comfy and controlled on the ball and can pick out a decent pass. Everything we are not doing at the moment.
