me, been awake since 5am saturday morning, taken today off.

Nightmare! At least you can take the day off to hopefully get some rest. Problem is once you start sleeping during the day to catch up it fucks up your sleep cycle even more

Had my first bout in ages last night. Last time I checked the time before finally finally dropping off it was 3.15. Then the bairn gets us up at 6.30. Ya bastard

Never good to check the time like... classic error. I removed all alarm clocks etc from the bedroom so there was no temptation to do the old 'if I fall asleep now I'll get x amount of hours' mistake

I was up till 4am this morning, trying desperately to drop off while in my mind turned this unanswerable question: what does the fox say?

just in case no one knows what i'm on about, and for the next time you can't drop off:

muahahahahah

I discovered these otc sleeping pills in America, which you can also buy over here. I don't struggle for sleep but when I take one of these bad boys I sleep like a fucking log, no wakey ups and I find I can go back to sleep when I wake up in the morning, which I normally can't do.

The active ingredient is the same stuff as in Benadryl.

Were you thinking of telling us what they are called at any point?
