The “establishment”

...cue the rise of some awful populist parties.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tommy Robinson going head to head with Russell Brand in the 2023 election at this rate.

Aye but they'd never have the numbers to actually win.

Agree that a second referendum is the way to go for legitimacy but I'm not sure Leavers will accept that either.

Just read that May's dithering about the vote cost the country the equivalent of 6 weeks of the NHS' running costs.

Fucking brilliant the Tories are. £1bn paid to the DUP to get them to behave, billions lost over Brexit, and now May is just throwing money away trying to delay the inevitable and hold power a little longer.

Fuck off.

I disagree. The vast majority of the British electorate are a pretty fair lot and would move on pretty quickly. Sure, you’d have a few extremes but not enough to form a movement.

Think she’ll get to have a little longer in Europe but the men in grey suits will be having a word shortly.

If she even the tiniest shred of dignity or self-respect, she’d be writing her resignation letter right now.

As it is, though, she’ll stick around like a particularly rancid beer fart on a Monday morning, utterly failing to “get the job done”.

The most depressing part part of this whole shitshow is that her replacement is 99.9% guaranteed to be an even bigger fucking disaster.

She’ll be around to lose the vote in the new year on her deal, then Dominic Greive dressed as a British army General jumps up in the commons and shouts “STOP IT, THIS IS SILLY” like Graham Chapman in Month Python and wins a commons motion on what is on the people’s vote ballot paper (staying in v Mays deal) and we’ll all live happily ever after :D
