Only political upheaval is a Possible labour government, the bank exodus was project fear and we’ll have even less bureaucracy once we leave.

Just a gentle reminder that we are not the pit of despair some of you make out. ;)

Erm, how? We will have to trade with Europe with the same bureaucracy, but instead of that being done by shared regulatory bodies, we'll have to fund our own. Plus, we'll need extra apparatus to deal with all the third countries we no longer have a deal with.

The only way we can cut bureaucracy is by cutting domestic red tape; that means social and environmental rights. Happy with that CT?

You did hear the news yesterday that outside of the Single Market there’s no chance of the banks keeping passporting rights?

I told you months ago that passporting would go and equivalence would be the future arrangement. You really should make notes.

Also, Barnier in hot water for overstepping his authority with his recent put downs to the UK about what will happen next. According to the undisputed bastion of truth that is The Sun ;)

Wrong! One of the biggest sectors we could cut red / tape / bureaucracy is in financial services.

You do realise that the only part of that story that might be true is the journalist’s name.

Run this by me.

Edit; Just to note, CT advocating deregulation of financial services. The same CT that blamed the financial crash on new Labour for...... Financial deregulation.

Fucking hell, seriously. All these anonymous sources and the Sun now endorsing Juncker of all people.

It's terrifying people like CT lap this up. Millions of the fuckers given the responsibility to vote in the most important decision in a generation by plebiscite referendum.

Barnier is of course completely right. There is literally no place for financial services with the red lines May has drawn up. Again, literally. Slowly those red lines will be dismantled one by one on the UK side. But the right wing red tops will dress it up to make it more acceptable to the CT's of the world.

Wasnt That Northern Rock accountants?

As for the article, utter tosh. Seems to be written from a view point of trading will cease post Brexit. The vast majority of what is imported/exported now will continue exactly the same post Brexit.

No it's not. Fucking hell, have you actually lost the ability to read as of late? The article details the areas that are most exposed to Brexit. Since literally any deal we get will be worse than the one we already have (and nobody denies this now), these areas are the ones that will be most affected. Ironically these tend to be in Brexit voting areas.

Is that too hard for you to understand tubs?

 Fuck me. No, I’ve actually read the report, not just the Guardians spin on it.

Basically, it’s a very crude database crunching exercise based on no deal or a very bad deal. It also doesn’t include the advantages of our own FTA’s.

But most importantly, as usual, the Guardian leaves out the bits of the conclusions it doesn’t like to keep its rabid snowflake luvvies frothing at the bit.

EG

As such, our analysis suggests that on purely economic grounds at least, the Republic of Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, will have more to gain from a relatively seamless and comprehensive UK–EU free trade deal than will other EU countries

Basically tells you all you need to know about where this is going.

Make your mind up, was the crash my fault or Labour's?

You've read the original report? So you can direct me to where it says this can you?

Which FTAs are these?

These will be the FTAs we will have to start negotiating after we have lost all the EU FTAs, where we have little leverage and are desperate, and have the capacity to do at most two at a time at half a decade each. Under the wonderful leadership of Dr Fox. Those FTAs.
