Yeah, shame most of those voting for "freedom" are closet Putin sympathisers.

He can fuck right off tbh, the unmitigated cunt.

Also Ukraine are desperate to join the EU. Russia hates the unity of the EU, which he sees as a threat, and is the cause of this war. He's a thundercunt.

You’re just coming across as a tit now. You are the one who claims that Mays deal means no free trade deals. She has publicly stood up in parliament and the CBI and said it does mean free trade deals.

Im not sure how that makes me a liar

This would be funny if it weren't so transparently pathetic. The longer this goes on - full checks for our exports and fuck all checks for our imports - the more UK industry and farming will suffer, not to mention the exchequer. And it will go on forever. What a shit show. How any Brexiter can be happen with this "control" of our border I don't know. So far the only control we've used is against Ukrainian refugees.

The alternative is to start the checks. However, if you do that then some EU supplier won't bother sending their goods to the UK and the rest will increase costs because for the bureaucracy and that will then be passed on to the consumer at a time of rocketing living costs.

Correct. So taking back control has literally meant losing all control. We can't control, or even have a say in, any regulatory aspects of our exports to Europe. Not only that, but we have a shit ton of paperwork to do which massively increases costs and delays, and makes us less competitive. So many EU importers have already given up on us.  Meanwhile, EU countries can export to us without any of these shackles making them more competitive and profitable. And yet this is hardly even mentioned in the media beyond the financial times. Labour are too afraid to bring it up. And Johnson goes on wrecking the country. Great.

Tbf part of the reason Labour are scared to bring it up is because enough people are likely stupid enough to buy into inevitable headlines and bollocks from the government and accusations of being unpatriotic and undemocratic. The problem with that is lies need to be challenged otherwise they become even more embedded

Agree. Just listening to PMQ there, is this not worth one of Starmer's 4 questions? Along the lines of why are you failing to implement Brexit. I mean of course Johnson won't answer and he will respond saying Starmer wants us to rejoin, but he literally does that every week anyway regardless of context. If we keep ignoring the issues, and that includes Labour, the damage will just keep going on. Of course as ewerk says, if we did implement controls, that means immediate and obvious damage. SO a slow death it is then.
