ajax_andy 0
Just blogged my last shoot which was also my 1st using the 5D MK III, also 1st time I'd tried out the Tamron lens. Feel free to take a look if you are bored at work http://andyhudsonphotography.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/lyndsey-stephens-pre-wedding-shoot.html
@yourservice 67
The sky is blown out mate. Naa, they look good as per. Is the Tamron lens equivalent to say a Canon L lens? I've got the Canon 135mmL lens and it's out of this world for sharpness, contrast and bokeh, it's just I don't use it as often - saying that, I've just started out doing a few models and have a few more in the pipeline. ajax_andy 0
Cheers mate Yeah it's the direct rival for the 24-70mm f/2.8 L I would have got the L lens if it weren't for the combined cost of that and the body being about £4k. Still on 1st impressions the Tamron rocks so I'm not too unhappy with it. Although tbh I have no idea how much is the camera and how much the lens, but as the results are nice I don't really care. 135mm prime for portraits? Are you on a crop body or full frame? It's just that's a hell of a long way away to be on a FF let alone a crop sensor, you'd have to give them instructions via text or something lol. Have heard great things about that lens though in all fairness
@yourservice 67
Great for head shots and also full body but full body is a little way off. I'm on FF with the MKII but can't justify the extra for the MKIII as theres nothing major that caught my eye with it and I'm gonna run this one until my sensor explodes. Have you got a studio set up? Ahh right not quite so bad if you're on FF then! I have a home studio set, but don't use it much tbh due to lack of room. Have done kiddie shoots with it before to good effect though but it's not a regular stream of work by any means
