south_cheshire_toon 0
Andy, The site looks great, and from looking at the stills you have put up there - you can certainly take a good picture, and as you say, putting your own slant on it. Personally, I would look at doing the following, as I work is a customer lead environment and understand 'first thoughts'. So, whilst good, think about the following, and these are more related to website design than pciture content :- The picture of the wedding with them both on their knees (she's wearing red shoes) - I'd replace that with something a bit more formal. Think, no, ask a girl (who's getting married ) - what the most (or one of the most important) things is - it's the pictures etc. And a first look - and that picture will put people off - and that's not the name of the game. On the home page - just a little too much info - that could be put on the about page, and on the about page - a smaller picture of yourself - as people will meet you - so no need for such a big picture. Keep up the good work, SCT

Keep up the good work, SCT Cheers for the comments mate... I'd been planning on swapping that image tbh so will do that tonight. As you have to scroll down a little to see the full image on some screens the impact of the red shoes doesn't work anyway as they're not on screen immediately. Al that text on the home page is for my SEO so sadly I can't remove any of it or I'll lose my high rating in google but I know what you mean about it. I spoke to the web guys about it but they confirmed for the time being it needs to stay as it is. The about page picture is just because of the wordpress template and I can't get it changed... I'm not keen on the size of it tbh so it's something I'll pay them to ammend at some point.
ajax_andy 0
Looks well Andy, and it's responsive (for anyone else that just means it resizes itself to suit resolutions, and brings in different controls at different sizes...menu becomes a dropdown when you shrink the browser window/see it on a phone) which is good saves you having to amend things for mobile devices and maintaining two sets of things. but i'd agree with the above about the front page, too much text for an entry page Cheers mate
