Don't recognise any of our players. Shocking. Sissoko has had a touch like a rapist, Simpson looks shite (which he is), Cabaye/Anita booked means no more challenges. We can't hold the ball! Where is our midfield?

Pathetic stuff, just pathetic. Going out for a draw, no shape, no effort no invention. Just stuffing the place and hoping they dont play well. Not to mention time wasting from the 10th minute. Horrible tactics. Utterly deserve this. Gutless stuff. Fuck off Pardew. Havent been this disappointed in a performance in a long time, the way we came out, just no intent.

Obertan and Simpson playing, Jonas at left back. Anyone expecting a win?

Yes. Newcastle United have a long historic tradition of ripping teams bankrolled by groups with unlimited wealth apart, especially away from home, as you well know. Pointless question. Now, Monroe Transfer and loonytoon will perform the halftime caberet where they will write what they know about football on the back of a stamp :) Edited by PaddockLad

The most disappointing element about this game is the fact we don't look interested at all. Elliot looks up for it but everyone else is so lethargic and just jogging around waiting for the final whistle. If were going to lose then fair enough but lets lose whilst giving it our all and looking like you give a shit.

What an awful and not surprising first half that this has been.

Our urgency and pressing today has been dreadful. We just seem happy to stand off them.

Complete waste of effort out there today, I'm guessing due to the impending Benfica match. Still, no excuse for the poor show at defending though the ref's been a typical homer as well, the commentators on Setanta are shite as well, since when does a shoulder constitute handball???

No one expected Newcastle to go and rip them apart but the travelling fans deserve better than the team coming out waving white flags.

Why cant we at least take a chance like we did at Old Trafford with a decimated team? This is just shocking tactics. Way to gear up for a European night. Dont forget you arent out of the woods in the league yet either you gutless twits! :angry2:

Everything about today was a nailed on defeat, from a shit record away to these, to Tevez, to our injuries and personnel playing. I hate to write games off but I wouldn't have risked any injury doubts today.

There's nothing shameful about going 2-0 down away to the current league champions but our performance today has been indeed that. Fed up of how inept we are away from home.
