BREAKING FUCKING BAD **Spoilers**

Recommended Posts

I think CT wasn't too absurd in thinking it was the last episode. If we had left Walt there it would have been a good ending. The only problem is Jessie. There's no way they could have left it with him in that situation.

Can't wait for the ending though now. I'm hopefully that it will be so good that it compensates for the fact that the show will be over.

Disagree about that being a good ending for Walt. He's a tragic character and he still has to salvage some redemption first.

Did he not do that with the phone call and in the fire station? It's clear what his motivation was in making that call with the police obviously listening.

Though I suspect he will try and grap for further redemption with Jessie and that'll be when we see him come back. I also suspect that will be the end of him!

More confusing is why they took Jesse to cook, and not Walt.

Easier to control and manipulate than Walt?

I'm just glad that I finally caught up, it's been killing me watching this thread being updated and me unable to peek in.

Actually, why go back to cooking at all? They've just scored over $10m each. Unless it's cause the young lad fancies the chick.

Guess they had already taken the order from that bint so are just delivering on it.

The price of killing Jesse was that Walt would do a batch though...so they shouldn't really kill him if Walt has done a bunk and reneged on the deal.

Bit of a comedown this week but that was only to be expected after last week and given there's only one episode left. Still thoroughly enjoyed it though. I think next weeks is going to be massive!

It's wrong that i like Todd as a character, but he gets shit done, no messing about :D

Although i hope Walt arrives back into town next week in full blown Hesienberg mode killing all round him, saving Jessie and going out in a blaze of glory

He's got to come back for Jessie you would think but that whole bit with the lez from friends at the end has introduced something completely new into the mix. Does he want some sort of revenge on them or does he just want to show the world that he's not the monster that everyone now believes he is?

Walt's Heisenberg persona stemmed from his first initial shun from Grey Matter technology, when they were nominated for a Nobel Prize and he wasn't included as part of the research team. This started his desire to be respected and acclaimed, and we've seen it time and time again when he's not given appropriate respect he turns into Heisenberg. HIs final talk with Sol highlighted this again, others taking what is his, in this case he refers to his 'life's work' now as his meth money and family, and vows revenge on the nazi gang.

He seems to calm and calm and almost realise he's dead and gone in the months he's in the cabin, and has almost completely gave up when his call with Jnr ends, virtually handing himself over to the police with his open call. but when hearing the Grey team on TV, it stirs Heisenberg once more, going back to the start of all his frustration, and its clear he is going to take revenge on the Nazi group for taking his money and killing Hank. I don't think we'll see Walt taking revenge on the Grey Matter team as you suggest, but it was mearly a catalyst for his final push next week.

I think a new series centred around Todd would be awesome! Like a reverse of BB. Todd is a young lad who has no qualms about murdering kids in cold blood. The series should follow him taking over the meth business as he slowly becomes a better person as time goes by and struggling with the things he has done in his life

5 seasons!! 5 seasons I've been watching this and with 1 episode left I find out why she seemed a bit familiar. Mind blown.

Glad they've reintroduced the Grey matter thing as a bit of a wildcard, had got to the point where a big Nazi/Lydia showdown followed by a Jessie/Walt finale was seemingly the only way for it to go, bit harder to second guess now.

Next week's episode is the same length is this one isn't it? It's going to be tough to wrap it all up in an hour but I look forward to seeing them try.

Clearly the ricin has to play a massive part in the finale as the next thing Walt does is to go out and buy up a load of guns then head home and collect the ricin.

Question is who is left that would take a drink off Walt that he wants to kill?

I can only imagine the grey matter folks.

While we're talking spidey sense predictions: Todd's life will end with him reaching/calling out to Lydia for help with his fatal wounds/poisoning, and her coldly ignoring him/telling him she doesn't care. She will then die very shortly after. That or Lydia being fatally wounded in a big fracas and while Todd is weeping over her body Jesse strikes.

Character I'm kinda interested in seeing what they do with is Marie, seems like her race is basically run at this point, she'll probably end up just doing a lot of weeping/consoling in the finale, but as far as she's concerned Walt killed Hank. Could be a surprise big player.

I really don't see the grey matter people been back in it next episode. I may be wrong, but I thought that was used in the episode to make him realise he was loosing everything he worked hard for (again), and as a kind of a tongue in cheek stab at the couple showing how Walt's newly found public fame has caused their reputation to falter.

There's far too much still to resolve in one episode and I would much rather see what happens with the larger main characters than revisit this, as much of catalyst to the beginning of the story it was.

Yup, I think you're right.

Ending predictions anyone? Walt to awaken and realise it's all been a dream and he's still actually Hal from MITM?
