We have one of football's great stadiums and we are delighted to now be announcing plans for a training complex which will rival any in Europe.‘ How fucking grim, what’s worse is then years later they stopped even bothering to make it seem like they’d improve anything with Charnley even saying something like “no player has turned us down due to the training facilities”. Brilliant that we are past the Ashley era. Did any of that training facility build actually happen btw? I assume not since our training facility is known to be a complete hovel.
