Failing to read article you posted. Yes, it was a good article though.

Yeah it was late what can I say?

I read it when it was published and thought he'd said something along those lines...might have been David Aaronovitch instead or someone like that?...

Have a read of that. The Express are incredibly trying to frame the Labour front bench as being the ones that are anti-Windrush and May as some kind of hero for telling them that the children of Windrush are British and they better not forget it.

Unreal.

Urghh. Thanks for that. What does this even mean?

Is Rudd admitting to not knowing about her own departments removal targets for illegal immigrants? That's resign or be sacked stuff but id be surprised to say the least if that happens...

If Labour was on its game (and had good enough politicians to do it), it would have stuck to attacking the government on Windrush and would have had a good chance of getting a scalp. However the government have laid out a trail of biscuit crumbs about illegal immigration and have steered the attack down a dead end.

The labour attack now looks toothless given just as many Labour ministers (and shadow ministers) were equally as aggressive in going after illegal immigrants.

Targets introduced under her predecessor. I think she's being used as a human shield.

Putting forward the notion that there aren't targets when there's a purported aim to reduce net immigration means that at some you're going to get caught, surely  Both can't be true

A non-economist as chancellor of the exchequer. Figures.

 Come on then sonny jim. What economist degree did Gordon Brown have?

You are an idiot, the exchequer is stuffed full with very clever economists to advise. The job of the chancellor is to guide decision making in line with the governments political policy.

Go away and find me the last economist chancellor and tell me how you rated him ;)
