Aye, but honesty not surprised. I think you said he's doing this a test to himself more or less as a hobby. But he isn't just rich like most the other fuckers, he's ultra-rich. It's a demanding job at the best of times, but at the moment? He's probably thinking fuck this for a game of soldiers.

More to the point, SUNAK IS WEARING HIS POPPY PIN BADGE INCORRECTLY. He's got the leaf at the 1 o'clock position rather than the 11 o'clock  position.

I AM FURIOUS.

That’s a little better than it was for the Tories. Still fucking dreadful but better. Although they use collated polls over the previous month so it would include the small gains made by Sunak. They normally only update it monthly but they been doing it more regularly given the recent events. The other thing is that while the Tories have well and truly fucked things up, or at least made them significantly worse, for virtually everyone, the shit hasn’t really hit the fan yet.

Everything about Kwarteng’s demeanour and language in the run up to and after his mini budget suggests to me he was fully onboard with it

BBC News this am reported on the forecasted deep recession. It focused on manufacturing and how that sector was performing especially badly. it gave the extra bank holiday for the Queen's funeral as one factor , the post/covid issues with supply chains and of course - Ukraine. It then moved onto a piece about the NHS staffing crisis and the increasing use of agency staff. Anyone want to take a guess how many times Brexit was mentioned?

Did anyone here go to the Enough Is Enough Rally at Boiler shop last night? Zarah Sultana was amazing - Her talent is the only reason she's still a Labour MP - properly losing it "Where's the money tree ? " Goes on to tell everyone how to get money off tax dodgers (Non dom for Sunak's wife etc) then ends with "There's the fucking money"

Also says she wont be told what she can and cant say or attend - as long as its FAIR and based on Fact she'll say whatever the fuck she likes.

Legend.

What you didn't get to see in this clip was Fiona Bruce responding to this excellent 90 second monologue with "We talked about that last week" and immediately pointing to someone else for a pithy one line question.
