It is, in part, thanks to the likes of the Mail. I suppose they’ve always been a bit misty eyed about extreme right wing dictatorships though.

I mean they're right tbf, Brexit killed off most of my passion for democracy  What is the point in a system that bases itself almost entirely on lies and distortions funded by Russia and dark money, and aided and abetted by traitors in the Mail?

I'd take a dictatorship of the mentally adequate any day over the farce we have right now.

Yeah. Nothing to do Braverman being thick as pig’s shit and trying to cover up something no one would have been bothered about anyway. The last line is true, thanks to cunts like The Bruges Group

New things that our right wing friends are suddenly shit scared of:

  • The wokelists
  • The coalition of the anti-growth
  • The blob

 These people are beyond pathetic.

Like I’ve said before Whitehall is a soft target for the government to blame their shortcomings on. Classic case in point is the pronouncements via papers like the Mail and the Express that remainer civil servants are to blame for things like Brexit not going well and not stopping the boats. Civil servants have to remain politically neutral in public so they can’t answer the charges against them. The current government are just bullies and cowards tbh. I caught about 30 seconds of the appalling Jeremy Vibe show this morning and some columnist was on there and claimed (unchallenged) that it’s known the civil service is pro remain and that’s the reason they’ve leaked this about Braverman’s attempts to avoid a speed awareness course. People believe it though. I mean who the fuck do they think appointed Simon Case?

I think, I hope, that fewer and fewer people are believing the lies. Thelatest Brexit data is showing to me that we have hit a pivot point where people can see it's bullshit, even Leavers. And the best thing is, many leavers can't accept that Brexit per se so there is nowhere left to place their anger except on the tory government. Yes, some may blame the civil service but only the ones who are far too gone. You have my sympathy though, civil servants have suffered more than their fiar share under this government. I would hate to have to directly work for them.

If they had the slightest modicum of self-respect, they should’ve said

“ The UK is a shithole”

Well I actually really like my job. I’m quite lucky in that in able to get involved with quite a few different things and it’s quite interesting doing stuff close to the centre of government, even a Tory one ;)

But the attacks in the press etc definitely have had quite a negative impact on morale in general
