Fucking ridiculous.

What happens now, do all those who've resigned coming flocking back ?

I imagine a parade of has-beens, and unknown lickspittles hungry for power jism will emerge like flies to dog shit in the sun.

Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner will ask an Urgent Question about the functioning of government in around 40 minutes.

She will ask Michael Ellis, the minister for the Cabinet Office, if he will make a statement on the matter.

There's no fucking way the 1922 committee are going to let this farce continue. The moment he resigns they're in charge of the timetable and transition. Unless they're utterly retarded, they'll insist he goes now and probably put Raab in interim charge.

It raises more questions than it answers tbh, him staying on, one of them being, as you say, what is the point of Raab?
Isn’t this exactly when a deputy PM should step up?

They’ll need to build some booster steps at the despatch box.

I fully agree but it sounds like it's a done deal between him and Brady.
