Welcome to the next 12 years, at least, of Labour government. The Tories know it’s over and are selling the fixtures, fittings and ripping the lead from the roof of the country.

The infamous ‘there’s no money left’ note from Labour in 2010 will seem like chicken feed.

Reckon  she gets home and wonders if she has bitten off more than she can chew? That goes for the whole cabinet tbh.

I suspect they have unwavering confidence in what they've just done. Which basically means they are high functioning, psychopaths.

The question that needs to be hammered home is

"what's the point in fixing energy bills if your budget causes interest rates to rise sharply and people end up paying more on their mortgage than they save on their energy bill anyway?"

What was her answer to that? I'd quite like to know.

Anyway, the hilarious thing is I think she went on to local radio to avoid scrutiny but R5 just played it nationally anyway.

Radio Leeds entry was "Did you sleep well last night Prime Minister?"

Most normal people would have a nervous breakdown under this pressure. And despite knowing how awful that is, I would not feel an ounce of pity for her. Of course, she isn't a normal person.
