You think billionaires fleeing the country wouldn’t spook the markets?

I don’t think it would be a mass exodus. Plus there are things you could do do mitigate it, such as an expatriation tax. Entirely different to Truss’s mini budget of unfunded tax cuts. So no

Have you read Stephensons book. It's decent but he does come across as a cunt. He got his dad a.sky sports subscription as a thank you his 6 figure bonus. When he moved out he cancelled it 🤣

no. Haven’t read it. I’ve watched quite a few of his videos though and I like what he has to say

I’d like her name please. I need to know she’s got the best interests of the constituency I’m suddenly moving to.

I'm sure makes a couple of good substantial points.

I don't buy that Billionaires are suddenly going to flee the UK if there's a 2% tax on their wealth. They've chosen to live here. Not because of the tax code, but for lifestyle factors. And it's not for the weather is it?

If those billionaires wanted to avoid the tax, wouldn't they already be in Monaco, Jersey or the Cayman islands?

That can't be real but if it is, I know where my next vote is going.

'Vote' is a new word for it.

They’ve probably only said it so they can use it to attack Farage / Reform.

It's not a 'probably' for me. Reform are the very real threat to them so they have to start drawing the battlelines. Brexit is undoubtedly going to become a point of interest but they're weaponsing it rather than truly believing it IMO.

Not sure I follow. Labour definitely truly believe Brexit has shafted us. I'm glad they've finally got the guts to say it.

Even Farage knows it. It's undeniable other than to sort of deny it by claiming it's cos someone didn't do it right.

I don't have any trouble believing that Labour fully believe it. It's just a shame it took them this long to open their gobs about it.
