Tbf, they are about to take a lot of kids out of poverty by reversing the CB cap, which is at least something.

Is there any link to removing jewellery other than a Sun report?

Contributions mechanism. In addition, we will require individuals to contribute towards the cost of their asylum support where they have some assets or income, but not enough to support themselves independently. We will also take action to recover support costs in scenarios where any assets are not convertible into cash or declared at the point that asylum support is initially provided but become convertible or are discovered at a later date.

What can I say, it's horrible. Trying to reduce the "pull factor" completely I guess. Although I reckon the Sun is still extrapolating and shit stirring, cos Sun. We need a European wide answer to this, well a global one really, but anyway.

Must admit for me the cost of living crisis is foremost in my mind. It's all linked, demographic time bomb nobody wants to talk about, including on here (well we talk about it but never have solutions). I don't think we are ever getting back to "normal" now.

The Cop30 convention centre having to be evacuated because of a raging fire in the convention centre is a bit on the nose.

Cool.

This will make no difference to their polling.

Aye. This, and the renewed allegations about Farage's nazi shit at school. Makes no difference, lucky if the BBC even mention it. Trumpism in the UK.

Tbf it's headlining the news at 6. Let's see if they can drag Farage out for an interview though....

He’ll be too busy “doing” one of his 11 jobs, other than being an MP, for this.

People don't have standards anymore. Rewind 15 years and he wouldn't have a hope of being PM. Social media has been the ruination of the human race.

Having a late breakfast this morning, listening to R5 wuth Nicky fucking Campbell who has Kirsty Alsopp as a guest. Who of course is vehemently opposed to any wealth taxes and apparently tourists flock to the UK to look at the 5 million pound houses in Notting Hill. And all the callers are agreeing.  I am feeling murderous right now.

All of the Partridge content on Audible is great and worth a listen. Alsopp features regularly and it's never complimentary.

My wife loves watching the sausage fingered bint and that bald posing next to a dead animal you've just shot TIT mate of hers. I make it my mission to RUIN every show if I'm in the room when it's on.

My wife is the same. Also those holiday homes abroad type programmes where 90% are freeloaders expecting to get a 5 bed villa for 40k. Fucking hate them, but at least on those ones you don't have that landed gentry talentless pig Alsopp and her cringey rare animal murdering side kick calling her "Kirstles". Honestly, I'm getting angry just thinking about it.

Aye, the little asides they do to one another in the voiceover. Fucking BRUTAL, the pair of them.

My lass has just spent the last week watching that Jasmine Harman show where she's bought a home in Spain for her family and is doing it up. Didn't mind that cos she's alright and decent Daytime TV fanny (getting on a bit these days but aren't we all).

Her husband manages to get a double break in his leg AND have a heart attack during the filming of the show.

I'm sure the lazy cunt just wanted nothing to do with any of the work.
