4 Labour Jewhunters have been busted today alone. I'm beginning to think this Labour antisemitism thing might have some substance.

Indeed. So dismal...

Corbyn is open to being accused of being an anti Semite and he hasn't got a leg to stand on to defend himself. Whether he is or not is in a way irrelevant, his inaction in dealing with it has condemned him. That's just one reason why he's fuckin useless. The anti semites showed up in the Labour party when he became leader and he refused to deal with them because they're his friends. As the old saying goes "you can judge a man by the company he keeps..." I'm not an expert on these things but it's difficult for me to imagine him actually being AS but I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking he is..

i agree, i don't know if he really is an antisemite. it would seem to contradict everything else he stands for, but he has utterly failed to convince me otherwise. and the problem is that on the very hard left, you start to see some crossover with the far right.

David Schneider outlines the moral dilema facing jewish socialists well in this thread. i have sympathy for those on both sides of the argument and can understand why you'd vote either way. if i was in a marginal, i'd be really struggling with the decision

I think his engagement with the Jewish Community in his own constituency would suggest he isn't personally anti-semitic. I think it's just another example of him not taking a strong position on something which goes against his friends (unfortunately).

It's not sexist if you use it against me, I'm male and therefore an oppressor not a victim.

So fair enough ;)

Nah, you’re either a puff or a cunt. At best you’re a puff with a cunt.

Aye. It's the not dealing with it that gets me. And like, I understand sticking to his principles in having the freedom to criticise Israel, but at the end of the day it's a minor fucking issue that has no bearing on the country in any real sense. Just kill it off ffs.

This is just unbelievable from Labour, but it's also worth keeping in mind that the press has sat on all of this for apparently years so that it can be used at a time of maximum impact. If the press genuinely thought this was important, it would have come out at the time.

Unless it's not the press and is in fact Labour members or politicians who have decided that now is the time to reveal all of this? Somebody knew about this a year ago and did fuck all with it until now.
