So many of them a school shooting as collateral for having some bizarre notion of “freedom” being the ability to own weapons of mass murder. So many of the politicians in the senate are there on behalf of the NRA and gun freaks rather than the people. My wife is a teacher at a middle school, one of the children in her class is disabled and has to use an elevator, he literally asked her the other day what he’s meant to do if a shooter comes in and he’s in the elevator as the doors won’t lock and if everyone locks their doors (buttons to lock the doors and bullet proof glass btw) what’s he meant to do? However, it wasn't in the Constitution, which is why it is called the 2nd AMENDMENT.
