Really quite shocking a plane can suddenly disappear from 35,000 ft in our technological wonderland. And how come the NSA know all about Fist's porn predilections but our Surveillance network allows people with stolen passports to board a plane?

What about people being able to call the phones of those on board? They are ringing but no answer? Call forwarding? Landed and disembarked? Aliens?

Looking forward to seeing this all explained in a future episode of Air Crash Investigation.

Don't think MF and HMHM's dialogue will be in it. ;)

Must admit, whenever I hear of an accident like this I make a mental note ACI will be covering it a year or two, there's not enough tasty air accidents nowadays.

There's about 3-4 major incidents a year I think (mostly in poorer countries nowadays), plenty of smaller accidents though which that show is not afraid of covering.

Also the lack of wreckage and transponder data. These planes are designed to float these days when they hit water and after 9/11 you can't turn your transponder off on newer planes.
