High-flying Blackburn!

Recommended Posts

I've just noticed, if we can beat high-flying Blackburn this weekend, we'll move within two points of them.

GREAT!

Think the wife will be upset if I interrupt our romantic weekend in Paris to watch it on the telly?

Does anyone think that defeat on Saturday will be the last straw? Personally, I don't think the Fat One will sack him even if Blackburn beat us. Lose to Cheltenham/Chester in the Cup though and he will definitely be gone IMO.

Defeat on Saturday will send St James in an uproar in my opinion.

We've been too quiet of late, and a riot is well overdue  .

Well not a riot like.

I think we'll win, for no other reason that fate seems to conspire to save Souness when he looks like he's up the creek without a paddle.

Well, not a riot, like. Of course not, you might get a bad name.

Shows the difference in the degree of passion for the Toon. In past years, it would have been a case of billiard balls through the directors windows to make a point with thousands demonstrating outside.

Now people think a few e-mails on a forum show a passionate response.

You'll have another insurance claim to sort out in the morning Gemmill, after he's put your windscreen through.
