What do you say at a job interview

You want the job but you don't want the job?????????????

 

I'd seriously go and have a lie down and think carefully about talking to ANYONE until you get your mind sorted fully

 

Gemmill is right - if you get the new job you'll probably get a new contract that wil take you through to the time you want to bail out...................  anyway June is months away - they won't remember you ducked out  in January

I want to keep my current job until I can leave for something better. I can't afford to leave until my fiancee finishes school and begins practice--June. (Coincidentally)

 

I just feel like taking a job for a short period and then leaving them in the lurch when I bail might reflect badly on me.

All you need do is apologise profusely when the time comes for you to leave - say that due to a change in your circumstances you can no longer continue to work there, express regret etc.

 

Having said that, if this new job requires applying logic and decision-making, you've got no chance. :rolleyes:

Gemmill, it's a move up in what organization would i have to do more decision making or use better logic to move UP?

Just tell them what your 15 year old girlfriend is prepared to do for you and they will realise you must be a super negotiator.

Some would consider this the perfect opportunity to carry on where that football match thread left off....not me like. Wouldn't dreeeeeeam of it. :yes
