Evidently ICC are about to award TMS radio rights for next 4 years, starting with T20 world cup.

As it should be 👍

GLENN MCGRATH AND EDDO BRANDES

After the Zimbabwe batsman played and missed, McGrath asked: "Oi, Brandes, why are you so fat?" Brandes ensured the next delivery would be sharper by replying: "Cos every time I sleep with your wife she gives me a biscuit."

Aussies knocked out by Afghanistan.  Maybe Hazlewood should have concentrated on beating them rather then trying to lose to the jocks and putting us out.  The cunt!

There were heaps of Aussie cricketers and ex-internationals talking about losing on purpose. It's a shame really. I took it to be a very obvious attempt to wind up the poms since they seem to have developed a newfound sensitivity for the spirit of the game that coincides nicely with the distinct lack of silverware in the English cabinet in recent years. They should've actually lost the match and put the Poms out. The meltdown would've been so much better if you lot had something tangible to get your nickers in a knot about instead of the usual jousting-at-windmills madness of getting wound up about nothing. :P

Haven't we won three world cups in the last 15 years?  Not suggesting that puts on a level with Australia but surely it's the opposite of what you suggest?

Being slightly serious for a moment. It’s fucking absolutely typical that the ICC have eventually got a World Cup right, in the sense that the format has allowed so-called lesser nations to have a genuine chance to progress through the tournament. Then at the same time have  absolutely fixed it so the Indian team has a schedule set up for them to win and know exactly where and when they were playing, irrespective of what position they were in their groups. Obviously they had to qualify but it has been heavily skewed in their favour

Great to see Afghanistan doing well. And Windies winning some games.
