In response to Roscoe P. Coltraine thread and to take our mind off the derby, thought it'd be nice to enjoy a little nostalgia?

A-Team was fucking brilliant, and anyone who says otherwise is a god damn fool.

When I was 14 there was a show called Above and Beyond (I think?) Show about space ships and aliens and all that, but I remember it through rose tinted glasses as being pretty good for it's time.

Obviously the cartoons were quality as well;

Galaxy Rangers

Ulysses

Visionaries

Battle of the Planets

A-Team was a parcel of shite and anyone who agrees is a Greek demi-god.

Galaxy Rangers - Never heard of it, no comment

Ulysses 31 - Class, I agree :good:

Visionaries Never heard of it, no comment

Battle of the Planets - Class, I agree :good:

Used to love the proper Mr Men and Mr Benn when I was really young.

Visionaries, Knights of the Magical Light!

clearly you've left out Mysterious Cities of Gold, M.A.S.K and C.O.P.S as an invitation for others to get involved

Also left out Battlestarr, Galaxy Rangers, Turtles and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors for the same reason.

Knightmare! How could I forget?

"Where am I?"

"You're in a dark dungeon. There's a goblin coming. Side step to your left" etc

I loved growing up in the 80s, me.

Supergran was class filmed around Whitley Bay and Tynemouth it featured local ciu club comedians Alan Snell & Brian Lewis as the baddies. If you go to The Land of Green Ginger cafe in Tynemouth you can see Supergran's Flycycle.
