That where Freddy's getting them from is it?

Again, not digging the site but I'd question the "Exclusive to Newcastle-Online" bit. I'm pretty sure .COM (also sponsored by Toon Ale) do a similar thing.

Anyway, I've already got my shares - don't need any more

Newcastle Onlines Toon shares offer

Or am I just being thick?

(and no its not a dig at N-O, I am honestly lost as to why you'd pay £13 for a Toon share).

I'm guessing your paying for the frame (plus a mark-up of course) and they're a keep-sake.

And, yes you did used to be able to get them from .com

It doesnt say that they're framed.

To me it appears that they are just that "a single share certificate"

At the bottom of the page:
Notes: The actual shares are free, the £12.99 fee is for administration and registration costs to transfer the shares into your name and postage and packaging.

I'm confused now.

If that's the case then surely you can buy 10 for the same price? Or a million?

How is the share free??

According to the fat man, all you have to do is turn up for work. Employ an average British manager (only), sign a big name player every ten or so years and then you get a bunch as a dividend payment once a year.
