Otherwise its arrogant pish. That's not what I was saying. I don't think anyone else was either. Not sure how an Englishman regarding the current England side as second rate is arrogant either. We're widely regarded in the media etc.as a 'quarter final side', but we've only managed that once in the last four major tournaments (and we didn't even qualify for one of those). If we made the last 8 or better on a fairly consistent basis you could possibly call us 'top tier' or whatever but we've only bettered that three times in our history and two of those occasions were on home soil.
