In reality Thatcher, Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron,May and Johnson have been their bosses and not the queen, regardless of who you swear allegiance to. It sounds like a cop out, an unwillingness to recognise the reality “oh yes I served HM in Iraq” … no, you did the bidding of the US in their desire to exploit natural resources and Blair followed on behind. I close friend has done several tours of Afghan / Iraq.
