Hugs all round then. The agony continues.

Aye. You never know, stranger things have happened. There's quite often a team who have been gash all season that suddenly puts an unfeasible run of wins together to survive.

Nice win but City and Liverpool next and Tottenham last game of the season. I'll contain my excitement.

Villa away, Palace home are must wins. Probably need to find another 3 points though from a tough run in.

Cruel hope, as was said.

Well, if we beat City against the odds then I reckon we stand a chance again. If we don't it's going to need a miracle.

Anyone think it was daft taking Tiote off? I thought he was doing well, not sure why we put Shelvey on

I thought it was a fucking strange one too.

Fitness thing makes sense but Shelvey seemed exactly the wrong type of player at that point.

I know we won 3 nill like and I'm obviously happy but Shelvey was shite when he came on, his positonal play is shocking

If he's going to play he has to play as a number 10, he's not a defensive midfielder at all

Agree wholeheartedly that he was shite when he came on.

I would like to see him play as the CM ahead of the DM but maybe he's too much of a luxury to play there in the modern game?
