The Fish 818
I've read people stating with some confidence that Bookies won't be posting odds of 5,000/1 on any clubs again. Now am I missing something or is that just fucking nonsense? The amount of money they've made on none of the usual favourites winning, the comparatively small number of people actually betting on Leicester to win, the amount of people that will now bet on rank outsiders because they think that this impossible season will happen again etc.? Ant 332
They'll still have big odds , 2500/1 for Burnley atm for example but yeah i doubt they'll worry too much, no poor bookies
KennyNoye 0
It was deemed impossible for a small team to win the epl, hence 5000/1 , its been proven that its not impossible and with the money available to clubs now its likely to bring more of an even playing field. Can understand why the bookies are not offering 5000/
GPB 0
You can get 100,000/1 on Newcastle finishing above the Boro and Sunderland
Gemmill 2,843
Are you lads just thinking this stuff up all by yourself, or is there a writing team involved behind the scenes?
Renton 2,146
Apparently the problem wasn't the initial bets, which hardly anyone took on, it was that they were very slow reducing the odds, even after Christmas.
