Omitting CT's predicted scoreline which was submitted through a mechanism other than the forum-wide agreed method is one of the great humanitarian crises of our time. At least that's how it's coming across.

Had the forum wide method been available it would have been used and Bristolgate would not have darkened these sky's.

Should be a point for getting the result (not correct score) right. For example is somebody that predicts 5-0 a nearer miss than someone that predicts 1-1 if it finishes 0-0?

Indeed and someone who predicts a 5-1 win gets a point for a 0-1 loss. Getting the right result should count.

I've got a column that records if a predicted result is accurate.

Should the lad who gets a point for his 5-1 prediction of a 0-1 loss be penalised? Maybe a 1/2 mark off? Dead easy to do things like this, at this stage.

Extra point right result, another for correct score. E.g you predict 3-1 and its 2-1, you get point for away goal and point for result. You then get 4 points for correct score and possibly either 1 or 2 points for result and / or one team's goal tally. Don't think 3 points would be possible.

Just do one point for correct result 3 points for correct score. Easy.

Then someone who predicted 2-2 gets no points for a 2-1 win, but someone who predicted 12-0 does. Whose prediction is more accurate?
