 Being harsh on Reading tbh

  Fair point.

I'm still not going to worry about it until they've played 10 games, but it's far from the good times I was expecting.

I think it is must win. I think it's fucking ridiculous to say that so early in the season but ffs. We're starting as poorly as we do in the PL.

Aye I don't think it's too mental to say, for nowt else it is needed to turn confidence around. They were saying we lost 4 in the last promotion season, if we lose 3 in 3 it's going to be a rough season tbh. Mitro is out 2 more games? I'd even consider giving Riviere a run out if he's fit as it's obvious we're missing a big man, Janmaat smacking 100 crosses in to 5'8" Gayle is painful.

Yeah I'm with you's lads it feels wrong to say it so early but we must take all 3 points against Reading. Something's drastically wrong I thought against Fulham we'd come out & show we had a point to prove. Then yesterday at home to Huddersfield I felt certain we'd take all 3 points if we're to gain promotion first time we have to start with a win against Reading otherwise sadly we'll be lucky to finish in the play-offs at this rate.

That's it mate, no ones really taking anyone on, other than janmaat and Ritchie, everyone else is just trying to get rid. I'm hoping its a confidence problem, they can disappear with 2 or 3 consecutive wins, which has to bē possible in this league.

We simply cant continue playing a DM on the right wing, if we're so thin that we have to play him if Ritchie is out (again I'd have played Perez there) then we have to buy a winger.

I think the idea though is that Anita is not on the wing, more on overlap to be the right back because Janmaat cannot be tethered, he's (Janmaat) also arguably our best right sided crosser.

Looks like Jaap Stam wants them playing a possession game and because of this it could be another turgid affair, with neither side actually fucking creating anything. Wolves beat them by playing a high intensity pressing game and seizing on defensive mistakes.

Hopefully we can start with Ritchie as I don't think I could cope with Anita pretending to be a right winger. I'd also give Gamez a run out as he surely, SURELY can't do any worse than Dummett?

Drop Shelvey as well. Is it just me or is he not a creative source he's just... I'm struggling to explain what I mean so bear with me. It's like if Janmaat makes a good run into space, Shelvey can find him with a 40yd ball to feet. But if Perez begins a good run, Shelvey lacks the vision or alacrity of thought to slide a pass through. Cabaye could launch a long ball for Ba to volley (Norwich?), or slide it through for Cisse to get on the end of (Swansea?). Shelvey seems to need the recipient to do telegraph the move for him to spot it.

I dunno, I don't think I'm explaining myself very well.

Was really hoping we'd have Galloway (or another specialised left back) in by now. Forestieri could be a good signing, but on top of people saying it's a non-starter, I think we need more.

When is Mitro back?

misses 2 more games through suspension, should be back for the Cheltenham cup game, or the Brighton game in the league.

I had two arguments on Saturday, one on twitter for saying there's no excuse for playing Anita right midfield and one at the match for saying Dummett is the worst defender we have. I can only assume the second one with members of Dummett's family. They suggested he's just awkward looking. I suggested they were talking out of their arse's and he is in fact a desperate excuse for a footballer.

I've generally stayed away from social media since the match because I don't want to get involved with the hysteria about us losing two games. I actually think, as Ritchie says, this might be a good thing for us. I expected the result against Fulham but thought we'd be much better on Saturday and I think most others and more importantly, the players thought the same. They need to realise teams aren't just going to roll over for us. They will come sit deep and look to break on us. We need to be more up for it and much much quicker. I don't go along with all the in Rafa we trust shit but I do know he's a very good manager who will be seeing the same things as us. I know he will be expecting a dramatic improvment on Wednesday and I'm hopefull we will too. Hopefully Ritchie will be able to play from the start, Diame will look more up to speed and Anita and Dummett won't be playing.

Abso-fucking-lutely.

Although, I wouldn't actually mind Anita playing if it's at RB; Janmaat isn't covering himself in glory with his defending at the moment so let him loose on Championship fullbacks, stretch the pitch! Give Shelvey someone to find with longer balls. Anita all too often pulls into the already congested centre and offers little going forward anyway.

Dummett has been terrible, so lets give Gamez and Clark their chance.
