Scottish Mag 3 Posted August 2, 2005 Share Posted August 2, 2005 From .com French media reports on Tuesday suggested that Newcastle are taking another defender on trial - namely Cameroonian international Jean Hugues Ateba (pictured) Ateba joined PSG last season on a free transfer from Nantes Atlantique, having spent three years with them. The 24 year-old made eight league appearances, appearing in both full back positions. He also made a late sub appearance in a 3-0 Champions League home defeat by Chelsea last September, joining former toon defender Helder in defence.
