3-5-2 might not be a bad shout with our players. hold tight deano

----------------Darlow

-------Clark--Lascelles---Dummett

Yedlin--Anita-Shelvey-Hayden---Atsu

----------------Ritchie

------------Mitro------Gayle

We will beat most teams with 12 players I reckon

Is the worry that Yedlin and Atsu would abandon their defensive responsibilities and leave our CBs exposed?

I like the idea of giving Ritchie license to roam as I don't think he has the pace nor the footwork to leave defenders bamboozled like Atsu can.

i like 3-5-2 when you play with attack-minded wing backs with pace, who can get up and down the flanks, rather than conventional, defensive full backs. the defensive midfielder of the three in the middle should help cover any gaps when the wing backs bomb on.
