Agree on this too - you'd hope that they've saturated the public with tales about Corbyn by now. Maybe that will actually have done him a favour in the the long run.

All of this said though, we're running out of time and all it's going to take is one set back for Labour to lose a lot of the momentum they had. I'd be keeping Abbot far away from the press at this point.

Aye, send her to Cook Islands for a few weeks.

I think you're right though, they've done the whole hatchet job on Corbyn. I also think that, because it's the General Election and all the blanket coverage that entails (not to mention the impressive way Corbyn is handling himself) it means that if they try and associate Corbyn with the IRA etc. then instead of it just becoming a 'truth' then he has ample opportunity to explain precisely what he has said in the past and why he took a particular stance.

It's ok, I'll advocate on their behalf ;)

I can't think of much more they can throw at him. So far it's that he's basically in the IRA and readying to dismantle the army.

It's at the point where they're making it up. The shite about disbanding the army ffs.

And then they're even contradicting themselves in their own articles but of course it's only the headline that Sun readers remember.

How are they even allowed to print that? I mean, I just don't get it - surely for their fallacies and 'fake news' they'd have to be a ring of truth somewhere, but as you say, they flat out contradict their own headline.

Wonder when campaigning will resume. Can't help but think recent atrocities will help May. The right media already praising her "strong and stable" decisive actions in the aftermath. The pressure was mounting on her before Monday night, hopefully it resumes. Did she visit hospitals after the Westminster attack? You know, when she wasn't in an election campaign..

It's all about voter perception. There is a general consensus that the posh rich boys know how to look after the county's finances, when most evidence points to the contrary.

Just needs time though. Eventually people will have to conclude that they can't, based on the fact that they haven't.

Well no, but his family hasn't been dragged into it, he's not been outed as an enemy of the state yet.... I dunno, I'm convinced there are depths that the Mail hasn't yet plumbed. They always seem to find a way to go further.
