There was basically 4/5 players everyone bought as soon as possible. I used the editor in later editions and calmed down some of the ridiculous ratings. Each new one comes out about a month after the transfer window closes, you can still only have three non-eu players in your match day squad and only five subs on the bench but it's still enjoyable. And I have some weird cognitive bias to playing the lite version which I can't quite put my finger on. Something akin to using a walkthrough I think.
