Going back to the Everton penalty, or non-penalty, I agree with Ant that there was no real reason for Lovren to put his hands on the Everton player and that you're "giving him a chance" to make a meal out of it, and so that's a reason to be disgusted with him. OK. But on the other hand, not every tiny bit of contact is a foul, and that's what we're supposed to have referees for. It was a 100% dive, not a "soft foul" or "soft pen" as we hear so often these days. That was a dive. Referees are not supposed to be conned by that level of obvious simulation.

So no, I don't find fault with Lovren there. It's not like he made a challenge, it's not like he had his arms around the player or tugged him. He put his hand on the guy's back and he went down like he'd been shot. When someone cheats at poker with you, is it your fault for sitting down with that person to play?

Ndidi sent off for diving  the cunt kicked and elbowed his way through our team but didn’t even get booked.

Its been like this for years. We're getting fuck all yet the card is straight out for our lot. We're honestly not vocal enough with the ref and I hate having to say that.

To add to this Troy Deeney just got sent off against Huddersfield for a far weaker challenge than Cabaye and Kane did on our lot.

Kane has just committed another disgusting tackle on Sterling and only got a yellow !  It was red all day !

Not so much as an apology for the horrid 'tackle' he committed against Lejeune in the season opener, that saw Lejeune out for six weeks. No wonder he's doing it again, didn't get punished for it last time so figures he's done nothing wrong.

“At first, I was angry,” he said. “We all make mistakes, we all commit fouls but I think an apology would have been good, especially from such a great player, the England captain, but I have never received one. I was angry then but now I have moved on.

“Was it a red card? yes. It is important to punish such tackles. It was a difficult time, a very difficult time for me because I had only just arrived here, at a new club and a new country and I was trying to establish myself in the team. I had prepared very well and then suddenly I got injured and I was very frustrated.

“I had to see a specialist and then I worked really hard and am pleased that I am now back in the squad. I do not think it was revenge challenge or anything like that just the way it was done and that there was no apology afterwards. Then again, that’s football, things like this happen all the time."

De Bruyne an outside bet for next years Ballon D'or?

I can see FIFA leaving Messi/Ronaldo at 5 each and bottling the 'who is best' argument

If Man City win the PL, and the CL I think he’d have a very strong case (not that I think Messi or Ronaldo will win the CL but it seems FIFA give it to one of them regardless even in years where people like Ribery, Sneijder, etc have had good shouts). He’s been phenomenal and is integral to the side which is probably playing the best football in Europe atm.

Alli of course give it a good go to ruin all that, he’s not that type of player though...
