Watching it at full speed it looked like he did everything he could to fling his arm out of the way imo.

Either way the 2mins it took to decide was ridiculous

Suppose that's where the "clear and obvious" thing comes in, if its a "you've seen them given" then it all hinges on what the ref asks the VAR.

If hes going to give that and wants confirmation that he can, he'll get it.

If he isn't going to give it and says "its hit his arm but I'm not convinced it was intentional" then the VAR won't say "you're definitely wrong" so the penalty won't be given.

It definitely took too long though, but more because the technology in the stadium let them down, said in the VAR thread that it is ridiculous that the screen didn't work and they had nothing else to offer in a multi-million pound game, featuring two of the worlds richest clubs.

Hes pretty much just sacked Sarri himself.

Chelsea are a nonsense club these days, how many managers are the players going to get binned on purpose before Abramovic actually does something?

It’s a weird situation because at the moment Chelsea can’t sell him because they can’t replace him.

Could they have subbed him before the pens?

Completely disrespectful to both the manager and the sub keeper.

Chelsea are a cunts club anyway.  Cunt owner, cunt managers, cunt players and lets not forget the cunt supporters.

Is there anything likeable about them?  No, there is not.

Other than Mourinho they've been alright haven't they?

That should be Kepa sacked tomorrow. Contract ripped up in front of his face and escorted out the building by security personnel.

If he stays and Sarri goes then the entire club is poisoned. That was a disgrace. An embarrassment to the game.

That was fucking mental  I mean it was great for me watching as I hate Chelsea but if I supported them I’d be fuming with Kepa.

Big decision for Abramovic, imo he has to stand by Sarri if he ever wants this short termism to end at Chelsea as it’s clear some of the players there think they can choose when the manager goes (and tbh they’ve been basically allowed to). Still can’t believe he just stood there wagging his finger at Sarri  if he starts next week Sarri has rocks in his head. They never put the board up though did they? As if they had he would have had to go off or face getting carded surely?

That’s what I was thinking. They could have forced him off with the threat of a second yellow.
