I wonder how many of those Sunderland approached in January. Got to think that Kris Commons, Carlton Cole and Reo-Coker were considered. As well as a dramatic return for Richardson.

 

EDIT: Didn't Tony Adams take Reo-Coker and Richardson on trial at Granada?
