There’s some chatter of him going to Bayern Munich. If Sane is crocked I could see it happening short term but I think his days will soon be over thank fuck.

He wants Champions League cos Messi is closing in on his goals record (11 short) and has got 2 years on him. I can't think of a CL club who would want the fucking headache.

He's not very good anymore, he's only interested in himself, and his wages are ridiculous.

If he can't get an elite club he'll go back to Sporting, they'll be good for a CL qualification most likely even if they won't make it much further than group stage he'll still be able to keep adding to his tally.

quite interesting reading the pages on blue moon since the news broke of the glazers putting man utd for sale. as is with their scouse mates at liverpool, man utd supporters would in reality be fucking delighted with oil money, because their criteria for who it is they consider is acceptable to buy them makes it practically impossible for anybody to do so!

think this lad nails it....

There’s a myth going round on RTG that the Saudis bought us instead of Liverpool because of their fans not accepting it. The ‘famous’ and ‘influential’ Spirit of Shankly group. The same then applies to Man Utd now. Both clubs represent terrible value at their current asking price. Another factor is they’ve both arguably reached their potential as ‘brands’. As the post brokendoll highlights shows - the sort of owners they’re hoping for just don’t exist.

The mental gymnastics that lot continue to undertake to rationalise why the Saudis made their arch enemies the richest club in the world.

The other thing is you’re going to have to compete with the spending power of us and Man City. The Qataris have gone all in on PSG so that’s them out too.
Not to mention that with their faux moral outrage other clubs have shot themselves in the cock, if the talk about the ownership test being tightened turns out to materialise

Yeah it's like playing Championship Manager and trying to find a player who has every attribute with a score of 20. Never gonna happen.

well aye, especially when you combine it with the fact that even if they did they'd be unlikely to match the now mighty wealth of little old newcastle and there's the crux. the self entitled cunts at both man utd and liverpool think they should be top of the football pyramid for ever more and the idea of having an owner who met their criteria but could only deliver one title a century like leicester would never suffice. both sets of supporters would sell their souls for the saudi's, and they know it.

This is a point that needs to be raised EVERY time someone - be it in the media, or those fucking ragheads down the road have a go at NUFC on the basis of the ownership. There are three clubs funded by sovereign wealth:

Newcastle - Saudi Arabia
Man City - UAE

PSG - Qatar

Given all the outrage surrounding Qatar, particularly this last couple of weeks, why aren't the likes of Exile1968 going hammer and tongs at PSG? Rhetorical question, I know.

Ignoring the pathetically paranoid and just plain wrong mackems I think there will be more push back at Liverpool than at any other club should the proposed new owners be a bit iffy on the old human rights front. If you’re 50+ and actually a scouser after watching the amount of silverware they’ve put in the cabinet over the years it’s going to be a lot easier to let them go than it would be for any NUFC supporter (I thought I had strong principles before October 17 2021, turns out I was wrong :D ) Thing is their gigantic world wide support means their new owners will be the ones who offer FSG the most money, and the spirit of shankley types will then be left with a problem….
