The big issue is probably that he ordered the deciding penalty in the shootout (which Sevilla had missed) be retaken for encroachment. Which is pretty unusual and then when that kick wins the trophy I can see how that sets people off. He had also booked a bunch of people on the Roma bench by this stage.

 

But again it's because people around Mourinho feel empowered to act without discipline cos he's such a cunt himself.

 

His fall from the top over the last few years has been pretty pleasing to watch. For a time he was such a breath of fresh air when he first came to England. Honest, unapologetic, getting under the skin of Wenger and Sir Alex. His Chelsea side was defensive but they were entertaining, it was a different brand of football at that time. 

 

Since then he's just failed to adapt and keep up with the times. His teams boring and unremarkable, his antics petulant and disrespectful really. Should get a proper ban for his behaviour after the game.

Agreed though.  When I did a tour of the San Siro last year and we went into the AC training room, they said the players didn't have assigned seats.  Apart from Zlatan he always sat in a certain place.

He improved Celtic but also spent more than any manager in Celtic’s history. His attacking threat came with buying 3 Japanese lads who have been phenomenal but he can’t do that again. Plus he didn’t do well in Europe but that’s not a problem this year.

The European games were interesting. He didn't compromise the way he wanted his side to play and sent the team out every time to take three points. The result was that they ended up bottom of the group with just two points.

 

If he tries the same thing at Spurs he won't last three months.
