Aye I saw that yesterday and never realised he was his nephew.

There was an interview with Brian Deane too, that was pretty emotional.  Not one bad word or joke said about the man, says a lot about him.

I thought his TV persona might be him trying to be neutral and he couldn't be as bland day to day but looks like he is. Him and Scholes should definitely stick to the odd football club reunion and enjoy retirement.

It's was to stop a team getting to say a semi final then signing three or four (in theory better than what they have) players in order to win the cup. Fairly irrelevent nowadays tbh

I’d imagine it must’ve been irrelevant for the last fifty years. Though obviously more recently due to the transfer windows. Seems pointless nowadays. Particularly in European competition.
