Southampton vs Newcastle

Sunday @ 11 am EST  8 am PST

Same lineup vs Liverpool? I don't see why not except Gayle for Joselu perhaps.  Gayle needs to get some more playing time other than 15 minutes or so at the end of games, doesn't he?

I see a draw here, but as always hoping we can clip a win.

Any news on Ritchie? I know he picked up a knock and withdrew from the Scotland squad.

Slight doubts over Ritchie, Shelvey and Atsu according to physioroom.

These lot can't hit a barn door at the moment. Long hasn't scored in months, Gabbiadini is doing a Papiss Cisse but was never as good in the first place, and Charlie Austin's knackered.

I think we'll frustrate them and could even nick it. Hope Ritchie's fit though.

Lawro's predicted another loss for us.

If his predictions were right here's how the table would look:

2 Tottenham 7 6 1 0 19 +1
3 Man City 7 5 2 17 -2
4 Arsenal 7 5 1 1 16 +1
5 Liverpool 7 4 3 0 15 +2
6 Bournemouth 7 4 1 2 13 +13
7 Chelsea 7 3 3 1 12 -3
8 Southampton 7 3 1 3 10 +4
9 West Ham 7 2 3 2 9 +6
10 Burnley 7 2 1 4 7 -4
11 Crystal Palace 7 2 1 4 7 +9
12 Everton 7 2 1 4 7 +4

iirc a few seasons back if you had put his predictions in a table Liverpool would have broken the points record and won the title unbeaten.

Yeah, that's what I was alluding to. I know they've only lost one anyway this season but he practically never has them down to lose, irrespective of form, opponent or whatever. Anyway, I think it was only last season he had them winning the league unbeaten.

Whenever he has us down to lose we usually win, so it had to be a good one for the weekend
