I'd like a home tie. Only 2 of our last 10 3rd round ties have been at home. Preferably against a shite Championship side who always throw the cup, QPR, Burton etc. A low ranked team would be good apart from bloody Hereford. If we had to have an away tie, then selfishly I'd like Hull away. Don't want the mackems.

Can we actually get a Premier League side in the 3rd round?

By the way, put money on Manchester United getting a home tie against lower league opposition. Someone like Millwall.

I'd like AFC Wimbledon, selfishly. Or maybe an away day at Port Vale.

Mind you, knowing our luck we'll get drawn away to an unglamorous Premier League side like Burnley or Watford and be put away after we field a severely weakened side.

Aye we can. Got Watford away under McClaren.

Yep. Live on TV as per.

AFC Wimbledon at home I think would be a cracking tie.

And yep. That's the usual tbh. Boring tie away at a shite club in the same league where we play lads from the u21s.

It doesn't matter who we get as a weak side will eventually be knocked out.

It's a damn shame that the FA Cup has been so undervalued.

Giving the FA Cup winners a place in the Champions League ( instead of 4th place ) would help fix the problem I think.

Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Hull City, Wigan Athletic and Stoke City say hi.

You forgot Portsmouth, but i get your point. But we all know most clubs don't take it seriously, unfortunately, as I love the FA Cup.

It'll be the derby game on tv; not Brighton v Palace, Boro v Sunderland, not even Liverpool v Everton. But Man United v fucking Derby.

All four of those matches could be on the telly, between BT and BBC

Smiled when I seen this and smiled a bit more when it inevitably came to pass.

:good:
